  4. ;    This patch applies ONLY to version 2.00 of FANSI-CONSOLE.
  5. ;    It allows FANSI-CONSOLE to be run on a few machines for which the
  6. ;    FANSI-CONSOLE causes all keys pressed to do something other than
  7. ;    what it should be doing.

  9. ;    Generally this problem is caused by an incompatibility in the BIOS
  10. ;    support for INT 15 for the machine in question.
  11. ;
  12. ;    In future versions, this patch may not be necessary.
  13. ;
  14. ;    In particular, this should be used on the following machines:
  15. ;    
  16. ;        IBS (Interlink Business Systems) Corp. XT Clone
  17. ;            with ROM versions approximately 4.17B
  18. ;            We are told that there are newer ROM versions 
  19. ;            which fix the problem for this machine!
  20. ;        NCR PC 4.
  21. ;        Perfect Solutions XT Clone.
  22. ;        EDS/Faraday XT Clone.
  23. ;
  24. ;    DO NOT APPLY THIS PATCH ON ANY OTHER VERSION OF FANSI-CONSOLE!

  26. ;    To use this patch, do the following command:
  27. ;
  28. ;        DEBUG FCONSOLE.DEV <NOKEYS.PCH 
  29. ;
  30. ;    When this command is given, this file will be echoed to your screen.
  31. ;    Under DOS 2, the debugger may give error messages for the lines
  32. ;    starting with semicolons.  This is OK!  Errors for other lines are not!
  33. ;
  34. ;    If other patches from FCON200.PCH are applied to FCONSOLE.DEV,
  35. ;    then this patch must be re-applied.
